Exceed Skytear 2027

Exceed Skytear brings the acclaimed Exceed Fighting System to Olan Taa, the fantasy world where all Skytear games take place. Exceed is a head-to-head card game for 1 or 2 players: pick one of 16 heroes, grab their ready-to-play deck of signature moves (no deck construction), and fight. Most matches take about 15 minutes.

The duel plays out on an arena of nine spaces where positioning is everything. Advance to threaten, retreat to bait, trap your rival in the corner. When you see your opening, start a Strike: both players commit a card face down, then reveal. Speed decides who lands first and range decides whether it connects, so every exchange is a read on what your opponent will do next.

Your cards do double duty as attacks or boosts, and landing hits builds your Gauge: spend it to unleash ultimate moves or Exceed into your hero's empowered form and change the rules of the fight.

The rules take 2 minutes to teach, yet the system has been sharpened by 10 years of seasons and a devoted community. Every Exceed deck is cross-compatible, so the heroes of Skytear can battle fighters from Guilty Gear, Street Fighter, or any other season.

No opponent? No problem! The Skytear season introduces the first official solo mode in the system's history, letting you fight on your own against every previous season.
