Explore the System 2025

Explore the System is a solo game played with a standard deck of cards.

This game is part of the Space Piracy collection of solo standard deck card games.

You start the game with a hand of cards that can be played in multiple ways to perform different actions. The actions include moving your ship around the "star system" (represented by a grid of cards), trading to get more resources which can then be used to "refuel" (allowing you to refill your hand with the cards you have played), and attacking enemy space ships.

The object of the game is to manage your resources effectively while trying to find and interact with all of the "monarchs" which are represented by the Jacks, Queens, and Kings of Spades and Clubs.

The game ends once you move your ship to the final destination, but your score is based on how many of the monarchs you were able to interact with along the way.

If you don't manage your resources well, you may get stuck drifting through space and will lose the game.
