Fat Thumbs 2026

Based on the multi-tap texting system used by 12-button keypad “brick phones” of (some of) our youth, Fat Thumbs challenges the table to form a word from a string of Key Number cards, while strategically using your Fat Thumb tokens to alter the group text. Each player on their turn adds a Key Number card (which contains three or four letters; e.g., ABC, DEF, GHI, etc.) to the end of the shared text. All players should always be thinking of valid words that start with one letter on each card in play—just like writing a text message of yesteryear. Can’t think of a word? Play a Fat Thumb to change the string of cards! Or, challenge the player who last played to charge your phone battery to win the game! Fat Thumbs—a NEW word game for the OLD generation in all of us!
