Fief: France 2027

Some games return because people remember them. Fief returns because people still talk about what happened at the table.

A marriage arranged at the perfect moment. A promise made quietly and broken loudly. A king elected because he was useful, not because he was strong. A bishop raised to power, a prisoner held for ransom, an ally who smiled just long enough to become dangerous.

For its 45th anniversary, Fief: France comes back in a special edition created to celebrate a true classic of political strategy gaming. This is a beautifully produced, refreshed, and enriched version of the game: painted with care, improved for today's table, and expanded with new features while keeping the heart that made Fief so memorable.

In Fief: France, you lead a noble family in medieval France, where power is never only military. Armies matter, but so do titles, marriages, elections, taxes, bishops, cardinals, the pope, the king, secret negotiations, public promises, and private deals carried by pigeon messenger. You can build castles, control cities, claim fiefs, marry into alliances, influence the Church, fight wars, survive calamities and turn a fragile family into the most powerful house in the kingdom.

This anniversary edition is not just a return to the past. It is a celebration of everything that made Fief unique: negotiation with real consequences, alliances that can win the game or collapse at the worst possible moment, and a medieval world where every title, vote, prisoner, marriage, and betrayal can change the future of France.

The kingdom is waiting. Your family's rise begins soon.
