About the Game

"For God, King and Country" is designed to be an introductory miniatures guide to the English Civil Wars. The first part of the book gives an overview of the wars, a uniform guide, and descriptions of the weapons, strategy and tactics of the period. A set of simple miniatures rules are included which covers both the English Civil War and the tercios used in the wars earlier in the century. The majority of the book is a set of scenarios from the English Civil Wars (including a solo scenario of Preston), plus the battle of Lutzen from the 30 Years War. A basic campaign system is included. In addition, there are rules for integrating with the board game "The King's War" from Clash of Arms.

Scenarios Included: Edgehill Cropredy Bridge Marston Moor Naseby Tippermuir Aberdeen Preston (solo scenario) Dunbar Worchester Lutzen
