Forage: The Bee Game 2026

Forage: The Bee Game is a strategic, tactile tabletop game where you guide a beehive through the four seasons. This is a ground-up redesign and final published version of Forage, with revised rules, mechanics, components, and game modes.

Players collect nectar and pollen, breed different types of bees, grow and defend their hive, and adapt to seasonal changes while avoiding a wandering bear. Gameplay follows the natural rhythm of a real honeybee colony, from Spring growth and Summer honey flow through to Autumn scarcity and Winter survival.

Players collect the most valuable mix of flowers and bees. Each flower type has its own score, bees in your hive add extra points, and sets of three matching flowers are doubled. When the twelfth round ends you score your flowers and bees to see which colony prepared best for Winter.

The game features multiple modes of play, including Friendly, Fun, Competitive, Solo, and an extended two-player challenge. Each mode uses the same core systems while adjusting interaction, difficulty, and long-term strategy. Solo and 2 Player modes offer their own multi-year survival challenges!
