About the Game

In Foxtrot, players take on the roles of rival commanders in a drill competition. The objective is to be the first to demonstrate the winning formation with their dice. Prior to starting the game, players must agree on which formation will serve as the victory condition:

Variety Formation: All five dice values must be different. Unity Formation: All five dice values must be the same. Parity Formation: All five dice values must share the same parity (all odd or all even).

On your turn, you must issue one of the following troop commands: Turn: Spin a troop 90 degrees in place, maintaining its top face while rotating the side faces. Roll: Rotate a troop 90 degrees over its bottom face edge onto an orthogonally adjacent empty space. Jump: Lift a troop over an orthogonally adjacent troop (of either team) and land it on the empty space directly on the other side, maintaining its original orientation. Optional Jump Restriction — A troop may only jump over another troop if its value is higher than the troop they’re jumping over.
