Frankenstein: Madmen and Monsters 2019

Frankenstein: Madmen and Monsters is an asymmetric hidden Roles Board Game, based on the Frankenstein Mythos.

Take the role of character from the book/movies created by Mary Shelley and reach your unique objective before anyone else and change the tragedy we all know (or make it worse!).

Each player take a secret character and a hand of 3 resource cards. The first player to achieve the goal of it´s character wins and the game ends!

The game is divided in 3 phases:

1. Collect, In which you play a card to gather resources with an unique system that allows you to receive resources from adjacent players (you give them resources too).

2. Hire, You will hire a service in one of the 8 available locations (2 possible actions per location), which will be resolved in the next phase.

Interlude: You can reveal your secret character to activate an unique power and get close to your objective.

3. Survive, The hired actions resolve in location order, hurting some players, protecting others or giving you that advantage you need to achieve victory

Includes 8 characters with gorgeous illustrations, each with a different goal and power, 8 locations to hire different effects, 32 ticket cards to manage resources (with an unique balance mechanic) and 8 player boards to track resources.
