FreeLancers: Wanderers of the Lordless Land 2025

Made to emulate classic Fantasy Beat'em-up games like Shadows over Mystara and Golden Axe, FreeLancers: Wanderers of Lordless Land is the mini entry of work-in-progress boardgame to be completed in three expansions, with the first available to be download-ed for testing.

In FreeLancers: Wanderers of Lordless Land, you can choose to be the hardy Landsknecht or agile Picaro as your character in traversing into Savage Forest, while encountering a poor woodcutter running for his life being chased by the denizen of the forest.

The game are to be played in 7 Waves, where aside from wave 1,6, and 7, the events on that Waves are randomized. Monsters that you defeat also drops random loot that you can gain by rolling a d6 and assigning which item you get from the dice roll.

When you reach the final wave, you get to fight against the Ruler of Savage Forest, the Harpy Lady. She has 6 different attack pattern that is randomized by a die roll. Once you managed to overcome her, you gain one of her two skills that you can use for your next adventure in the next expansion; "Savior of Lordless Land"
