About the Game
This drag racing journey of board games now turns the pages back to an exciting era in its exciting history, 1980’s covering as many classes as possible, and may cover more decades in the awesome 21st century. These vintage eras of old were action packed, and a lot more dangerous with the lack of safety standards, with racing excitement and grandstands always full of enthusiastic race fans. Full Throttle Drag Racing uses a unique system of blending section movement or space movement depending on what happened on a turn for a driver. I wanted a game that also was more event based as I love a little a bit of a story, but some races still may go event free. With this blend of unique movement gave me an opportunity to do some incorporating of this mix with various event and trouble tables. The scale of the raceway is considered a quarter mile for all classes and no matter what class you race it has a three-turn racing system. I used the terms 330, 660, and Finish for what is called section turns for breaking it up into close to one third marks. Each driver receives a time slip at the end of the race which documents times at these important marks, time slips would also include reaction times, 60-foot time, and average and top speeds.
Get Ready for More Fast Action Short Season, yes, they had short seasons, Exciting Drag Racing!
