GHOUL Battledeck 2023

At the far end of the Glug nebula, third star system on the left, you’ll find a cube-shaped planet called Ghoul.

It may look like an idyllic utopia, but zoom in and you’ll find it overrun by dim-witted monsters pulling ridiculous faces.

For an age, tribes have formed volatile alliances and battled for control of Ghoul.

You, the hero, have formed a shabby band of monsters to settle the score once and for all, but there’s one small problem...

Your friends stand in the way.

Battledeck pits you and your horde against your friends as you fight to determine the one true ruler of planet Ghoul.

Each player receives 3 Ghoul cards face down, a HP card, and a Counter Gem. Players reveal their first Ghoul and the battle begins.

Dice rolls determine damage and healing, but also trigger special abilities unique to each Ghoul: slow death by wet nibble; shower of crusty monkey biscuits; and bounding embrace of boneless fists to name a few.

Using the HP card to track a Ghoul's health, Counter Gems may fall on Yellow Hearts – triggering Chance Card with ridiculous demands, or fall on a Purple Heart triggering Mayhem, upping the stakes of the game.

Players choose who to attack on their turn – beat the strongest player down to size? Or deal revenge on the Ghoul that gave them the Curse of Creeping Toe Fungus?

GHOUL Battledeck is a hoot and suited to the whole family. Its weighting makes it perfect for ages 8 and up.
