About the Game

The more you win, the more you lose!

The object of the game is to demonstrate the pitfalls of gambling. This is an educational game for young people (ages 6-19). It teaches them that although gambling sometimes brings in big money for them, most of the time it ends up with heavy loses, resulting in accumulated debts and addictive behavior. —description from the rulebook

Gain Less is a roll-and-move game, with a number of "betting" spaces for players to spend money at. There is always a chance of winning more money back than you have spent, but the game is designed so that you lose money more often than win, similar to the odds found at casinos and other gambling houses. Gain Less is an educational game, used to demonstrate to young teenagers and adults that when you gamble, ultimately you lose more money than you win. —user summary
