About the Game

GALIMAH

/ɡɑːˈliːmɑː/

n. (process) Surviving the apocalypse by becoming a god through overcoming the inner conflict between good and evil.

This is a game about survival in the end times. Convert followers, perform sacred deeds, erect holy sites and walk the razor’s edge between good and evil to ascend as a new god, thus saving yourself and your followers.

Players take turns in sequence, performing 2 actions each turn. Every major move counts as an action: playing a card, gaining resources, drawing a card, converting a follower, activating a card’s ability, evolving yourself, or claiming the favor of a god.

Most actions exhaust the cards or abilities used, creating natural pauses. Players can spend both actions on a "power nap" to remove 1 exhaustion from each of their cards.

The first player to gain the favor of at least 4 gods ascends to godhood and wins.

Throughout the game, players shape their path as righteous, corrupt, or balanced through their actions. Each time they gain Karma, they advance on the corresponding Karma track and draw a Karma card, triggering an immediate, unpredictable reward or penalty that reflects their chosen path.
