About the Game

Go Forward Rugby uses a rack and card system. The rack slides up and down the field Board to show where play currently is. If the rack moves past the Try Line at either end of the field a Try (Touch down) is scored. Players hold cards in their hands which they use to influence play in the rack. The Cards represent players on the field and special actions that they may do. The idea of the rack is that your opponent can see where you cards are, just not exactly which players they are. This means the game has a memory component to it. The game tries to focus on Rugby's ideas and leaves out many of the finer points in an effort to keep the game simple. The Game is currently free to download from the web as 4 small pdf files which include cut out plans to build the card rack.
