Godslayer is a squad-level skirmish tabletop miniatures game set in a sword-and-sorcery / mythological world. The theme and background draws both on mythology and classical history (Greeks, Romans, Celts, Barbarians, etc. )to create a detailed backdrop for the game and its factions.
Players field small warbands of 32mm-based metal miniatures led by mighty warlords to fight over scenario objectives, using classic dice rolling game-play mixed with innovative mechanics such as alternating activations and an action token system that allows incredible flexibility and realism without sacrificing playability and speed.
While Godslayer is a unit-based game, it still puts a lot of focus on individual models - for instance every unit member has multiple hitpoints. This allows for more complex gameplay that is still as quick as you'd expect from a skirmish game.
