About the Game

This mischievous game of wit and strategy lets you and 2-5 other players take on the role of leprechauns competing to gather the most gold as quickly as possible. To win, you must hold at least 30 gold at the start of your turn. Gold is obtained by either the effects of Action Cards and/or Charm Cards, or by skipping a play action on a players own turn (at a rate of 1 gold per skipped play). There are two varieties of cards, Action and Charm. Action Cards' effects are exclusively immediate and single use. Charm Cards have some sort of lasting effect that may be indefinite or limited duration (either for a number of turns or on a specific condition). Cards can be purchased with gold in randomly drawn bundles of 1, 2, and 3 cards (with prices in gold randomly determined by a d4, d6, and d8 respectively). Each player (in order) will have a chance to make 1 purchase among these card bundle options, after which each player takes a turn (also in order), playing up to two cards from their hand. Gameplay continues until any player holds 30 gold at the start of their turn, upon which the game immediately ends.
