About the Game

Gorbino's Quest is a strategy game of economic development and civilization building in a fantasy setting for 2-6 players aged 13 and up.

Inspired by Concordia (2013), Mosaic: A Story of Civilization (2022), and Brass: Lancashire (2007); Gorbino's Quest combines the elements of tag collecting, hand management, resource management, income, loans, market, investments, resource production and area control. GQ is an action-selection game. Actions include:

Loan Lose income, but gain Coins

Production Produce resources at the province of your choice

Trade Buy and sell up to two different resource types

Development Purchase Technology cards that contain tags as well as upgraded actions

Reset Place all your discarded cards back into your hand and gain income

Build Build new cities and gain income

Treachery Steal resources, buy resources at a low cost, or take the actions of other players

Choosing a wise sequence of actions will have the player gain their desired income, actions, resource production, cities and tags.

Each Round After all players have taken their turns, do the following:

1. Advance Technology Track: Discard the rightmost technology card from the track and shift all remaining cards to the right. 2. Income: Gain or pay coins based on the income tracker. 3. Rotate First Player Marker: Rotate it clockwise; that player starts the next turn.

Scoring Game ends when no cards remain on the Technology Track

Score calculated by how many 'tags' players have And by using the scoring section of the board. An example would be pink tags x number of cities.
