About the Game

Grandmaster is a two-player chess-adjacent game. It uses a modular board composed of 64 square tiles that are used to create an 8x8 board.

Each player has 16 pieces. 8 pawns and 8 Grandmasters, which are valued 1-8. The Grandmasters move based on the tiles on which they start the turn. Their value is only used to determine win conditions. Otherwise the Grandmasters are equal.

The player who captures 21 points worth of their opponent's Grandmasters is the winner.

Grandmaster was inspired by the Parker Brothers Game All the King's Men.
