About the Game

Gridblock is an abstract card driven game, where players have to move on a tile grid and try to place markers in order to score victory points. Each player has a deck of six cards, which show a combination of movement points from 1 to 3 and one of six symbols. Markers may only be places, if the symbol on the played card matches the symbol on the tile their movement ends on. Bonus points may be scored if a player manages to place multiple markers on a single tile.

The game is played with the components of the Green Box of Games. The Meeple Mini Expansion is not needed to play this game.

Gridblock won the Best Original Game category of the 2018 Green Box of Games Design Contest.
