About the Game

In HACK.BAK - The Board Game, the group F.I.S.H (Frivolous Information Sealing Hackers) have encrypted your precious data. They've left you the tools you need to find the key, but they're spread across a network of servers, routers, and other devices. Your job is to find the commands, traverse the network, and unlock your Personal Data.

To play HACK.BAK - The Board Game, you’ll traverse a computer network looking for encrypted files and their keys. This network is built during play using various nodes and connectors.

Players will be scanning nodes and searching for new commands to find a path forward in order to be the first to decrypt their data.

The game can be played as a 6-stage introduction game that adds new elements at each step or, once familiar with the tiles, a single stage advanced game that uses all tiles immediately.
