About the Game

Satanic weather forecasters compete to inflict the most misery upon the population by manipulating the weather in this light card game for 3-5 players.

In technical terms, Hail, Satan! is a simultaneous response trick-taking game. Each turn, the ‘boss’ player will choose one card from their hand and play it face up. All other players choose a card from their hand and play it face down. The card must be of the same weather pattern, if possible. All players reveal their cards and the highest on-suit card wins, adjusting the weather forecast accordingly.

Professional players want to get the weather right, Evil players want to get it wrong, and everyone is free to choose each round how they want to play. Whoever inflicts the most misery over six short hands wins!
