About the Game

Halo-Halo is a short and lighthearted card game for 2 to 4 players together in a delicious competition to create the most mouthwatering halo-halo, a Filipino shaved ice dessert with numerous toppings, by drafting ingredients and scoring the most "yummy points" or "yummies."

On your turn, you pick from among four random cards in the center, known as the "chiller." You place the card above your glass in the form of a one-dimensional tableau, placing cards "above" each preceding card, mimicking the stacking of a halo-halo. The card's ability is activated upon drafting.

Some cards have abilities that simply gain yummies based on other cards or their positions in the halo-halo, while other cards have abilities that allow the cards to swap around the table.

Players keep going until everyone has 6/4/3 ingredients (depending on the number of players in the game). Then, whoever has the most yummies at the end of the game wins.

If there is a tie, the tie is broken by looking at which player has the highest numbered card (cards are numbered 1 to 14, separate from their yummies). Whoever has the highest-numbered card among the tied players wins.
