Brain Golfing is a pocket-sized pen-and-paper strategy game. The format is a small Wire-O-bound DIN A7 booklet. No dice required, the game uses a fixed number strip, giving the player full information to plan their path across each hole.
Each booklet contains 90 individually designed holes across five courses. The playing field is a hex grid map with terrain types including water, sand, trees, hills, wind fields, and portals, each with distinct mechanical effects. The player has access to five power-ups that can change the dice or alter the path making the game even more engaging.
The goal is simple: move the ball to the hole in as few strokes as possible and beat the target score. Brain Golfing supports solo play as well as head-to-head and group modes, all within a single shared booklet.
