About the Game
Hemispheres pits 2 halves of the same brain against each other. Each half is trying to control the entire brain. To do this, each player has the same 8 cards as their opponent. Each player is trying to out think their opponent to swing the personality meter all the way to their side of the brain and take total control.
Turns are played simultaneously by choosing the card to play each round and then revealing them together (along with each cards special Trait chosen that turn). After applying the Traits, the final Power values are compared to affect the Node track (score). Cards have a cool off period before returning to the hand. Choosing the right Power value and right Trait becomes a mind game against your opponent. This game is best played against the same opponent repeatedly to get into each others's brains.
This game was originally designed for the 2016 2-Player PnP Contest.
