About the Game

Herbcraft is a fast-paced card game with an addictive mix of push-your-luck, deck-building and pick-and-pass that plays in just 25 minutes. Set in the same fantastical setting as Mercurial: Alchemia, players are floramancers, cultivating magical herbs while trying to avoid growing Blightweeds.

Each round, players simultaneously reveal Herb cards from their decks and stack them left-to-right, increasing the rewards they’ll gain from harvesting later. Card positioning matters, as do collecting sets of materials — but many Herbs grant powers that let players reorder cards or control what they play. With Blightweeds lurking in your deck, you must push your luck carefully, for revealing too much Blight forces you to discard half your card stack!

After harvesting, players gain victory points and Shells, then draft up to 3 new cards through pick-and-pass to further build their decks. Powerful Herb cards cost Shells to keep, so timing is important; do you spend early to buy that perfect card, but risk not being able to buy any more later?

With fully simultaneous turns, Herbcraft stays quick and exciting throughout. After six rounds, the player with the most victory points wins.
