About the Game

Highway Lights is a reimplementation of the designer's 2019 release "Run et Run". The game is a race along a track where some spaces show positive numbers and some spaces show negative numbers.

A number of cards are revealed face up, and in turn order, the players draft one of the cards. These cards are then executed in numerical order - rather than turn order. Players may occupy the same space, but are stacked. If a player would move off of a space, they carry any player pieces on top of them with them through the move.

If the space a player ends on shows a number, positive or negative, that is a movement value applied only to the top-most player token that was moved.

There are some other wrinkles, but the player who reaches the goal first wins.
