About the Game

Holistic Review is a gateway+ weight auction game in which players control universities recruiting prospective students. They will use multi-use cards to build an engine, auction for students with their administrators, and try to fill the most prestigious majors to capacity. After five auctions, the most prestigious university wins!

Gameplay:

Reach round, players choose two strategic plan cards to play to their player board. These are multi-use cards that can each perform four functions. Then, players use their administrators in an auction for students. Players must divide their limited available efforts between reaching out to more students and putting more effort into recruiting them. The students will choose the university that put the most effort into recruiting them!

After five waves of students have applied, players score prestige from their completed majors, completed private objectives, their ability to teach well, and subtract score for any students they were unable to place. The most prestigious university is the winner!
