About the Game

"I Spy" Mini Board Card Game by Ideal Toy Group, 1966, based on the NBC television series starring Robert Culp and Bill Cosby.

Object of the game is to be the first "Spy" to accomplish his mission by skillfully playing his cards.

The game is played in rounds. In a round each player plays a card. First card played in a round establishes the color suit for that round. Players must follow suit (if they have no card of that suit they must throw another but cannot win that round). Highest card of first suit played in a round wins that round.

Here is the order of cards from highest to lowest:

Ahead 4 Ahead 3 Ahead 2 Back 2 Ahead 1 Back 1

The joker always wins the round in which it is played but can only move 1 hole forward even if peg is on a target hole.

Game is won by the first player to move his peg from "Start" to "Finish".
