The goal of the game is to get back to the starting space with as few penalty points as possible. If a player collects more than 35 points he is eliminated from the game. On a player's turn, he may leave the gearshift lever in its position or shift it up or down a gear. They he moves the speed selector on the right of the dashboard one space to the right: the new color that appears indicates the speed on the speedometer. For example: green in third gear is 80 km/h. 10 km/h corresponds to one space, so you can move 8 spaces forward. On multi-lane roads, you can overtake opponents, but only one car can be on a space at a time. On a single-lane road, you must stay on the space behind the car in front of you. An opponent is overtaken by moving past him sideways. The solid red line must not be crossed under any circumstances! If you drive to fast you get penalty points. On some Spaces you have to draw event cards.
