About the Game

Contained in Deutscher Spielepreis Classic Goodie Box

Components: 2 Tomb boards (with sides C & D).

Preparation: Replace the original tomb boards (A & B) with the new ones (C & D). The players both choose to play with side C or D face-up.

Gained tomb tokens are placed adjacent to the tomb board as in the base game. Only the scoring for the tomb at the end of the game is changed.

Tomb C: The 3 color areas (1–4 | 5–8 | 9–12) are each considered separate and scored individually at the end of the game. You score points according to the number of tokens in a color area. It does not matter if the stones in it are adjacent.

Tomb D: Each of the 4 color areas (1–3 | 4–6 | 7–9 | 10–12) is considered separate and scored individually at the end of the game. You score points according to the number of tokens in a color area. It does not matter if the stones in it are adjacent. It’s by design that you score fewer points with 3 tokens than with 2 tokens. This way the interaction of the players’ choices is more important.

Note: The colors of the areas are distributed differently on the two player boards. This is due to the production of the boards tiles and has no meaning during the game.
