About the Game

A strategic-level wargame set in the Pacific Theater of World War II, based on the classic sci-fi game Imperium: Empires in Conflict – Worlds in the Balance. Issued game with Game Journal* magazine #100 .

Players manage the Empire of Japan or the Allied Nations. Each turn begins with collecting income, maintaining forces, and building new units. This is followed by two phases of movement and naval air combat, with an opportunity for an amphibious landing and ground combat interspersed between them. By utilizing naval, air, and ground forces—each with distinct characteristics regarding movement and combat—players expand their territory by eliminating enemy forces and establishing bases.

The Japanese accumulate victory points each turn by controlling political objectives and win the game upon reaching a total of 55 points. The Allied win by either controlling the Japanese home islands or severing Japan's transport network to reduce their income to zero.
