International Championships 2026

In this athletics simulation, you are managing a national athletics team as they prepare to participate in the International Championships, a prestigious event where athletes compete to gain points for their country and attempt to top the table with gold, silver and bronze medals.

This solo or multiplayer simulation combines athlete customization with unique event action as you build a team of athletes to challenge the best in the world and bring glory to your team.

The book takes you through the How to Play rules, the National Team Selection (selecting country, level of difficulty and rolling up your athletes), and finally playing through the International Championships. You will roll for each event, which will either be a single heat such as long-distance races, or multiple heats if it’s a shorter distance track race (Heat 1, Semi-Finals, Final), or three to six Rounds for field events like the javelin throw, and the pole vault.

You measure your team's success based on their gold, silver and bronze medals compared to other countries, but also how many points they scored as a team based on their finishing positions in their events. The Athletics National Governing Body (NGB) will then assess your performance as Performance Director.
