About the Game

This expansion allows you to play a mini-game when you encounter Humongous in the Core Game.

Use your wit to remove the helmet and your brawn to defeat the giant!

This expansion, which is exclusive to the 40th Anniversary Collection campaign on Game found, also comes with:

the Jim Henson's Labyrinth the Board Game: Exclusive Collector's Box to hold your entire collection, Jim Henson's Labyrinth the Board Game: Revised Rulebook All Unlocked Exclusives from the campaign: Jareth and Sarah ballroom miniature, Junk Lady miniature, Wiseman miniature, crystal ball Willpower tokens, upgraded thicker character boards, Firey #5 miniature, extra dice set, Tobey miniature, and Jareth on his throne miniature.

The main expansion is of course the Humongous expansion, featuring a giant miniature, a game board and a set of cards that allow you to play a very strategic and yet fun mini-game, either on its own, or integrated with your games of Labyrinth the boardgame. Then, the next most exciting new expansion we think is the ‘Play as the Worm’ expansion, which adds a new character/player sheet to the game. Now you can play as the Worm, which has a very peculiar set of rules – a very different profile from the other main characters… as you can imagine he does not excel in Brawn or Speed, but his knowledge of the Labyrinth (and therefore his Wit) is without peer! And comes with the customary two cards for his Strength (‘Cup of Tea?) and his Weakness (‘I’m just a Worm!). The last two expansions are the Trash Lady and the Wiseman. These follow the same principle and format as the Goblins! and Fireys! expansions, providing new rules that you can use alongside the new miniature to modify the normal boardgame. The Wiseman is more static, he remains where he is drawn, and is potentially a source of helpful information that will boost your Willpower… but there is a risk that he will just waste your time with infuriatingly useless gibberish! The Junk Lady is more dangerous, she will challenge you as normal when drawn, but if you manage to resist her powers, every turn there is a chance that she will chase Sarah around the board to try again to sway her from her mission… watch out! Combined with the other expansions and the optional rules in the rulebook, these new characters allow you to enrich your experience of the Labyrinth boardgame and adapt it to your taste and level of experience. Have fun!
