Journey to the West: Eighty-one Perils 2022

Journey to The West: Eighty-one Perils (西游释厄传) is a competitive ladder climbing card game. Players embark on an adventurous journey filled with challenges inspired by the classic Chinese novel, Journey to the West.

Gameplay Players take turns playing cards from their hands, with each card representing different characters or creatures from the Journey to the West universe. The objective is to follow up on the previous player's card with a higher strength card or a card with special ability. These abilities faithfully reflect the characters' powers and relationships from the original story. Failure to do so forces the player to collect all the cards on the table, which become "Peril Cards." The game continues until the deck and the players' cards are both exhausted.

Victory Condition The player with the least number of Peril Cards at the end of the game wins.
