カエルの王国 (Kaeru no Oukoku) 2019

カエルの王国 (Kaeru no Oukoku) means Realms of FROGS'. It is a territory occupation game for 2-4 players. Basically, this game is for two players, but there are several game modes which can be played with three or four players.

During setup, tiles are placed to form an NxN square grid board. The board is divided into five sections which are painted in different colors. The board varies game by game depending on allocation of tiles.

At the beginning of the game, each player has several stacks of their frogs outside of the board. Each turn, you may place one of your stacks from outside into any vacant space on the board, or move one of your stacks on the board orthogonally, leaving one frog on each square passed, until all frogs are unstacked or the stack cannot move any more.

The game ends when no player can place or move stacks any more. For each section, check which player has the greater value of frogs. The player who has dominated more sections wins the game.

「カエルの王国」は２～４人用の対戦陣取りゲームです。基本は２人対戦ですが、３，４人で遊べるさまざまなルールも用意しています。 正方形の盤面が5つのエリアに分かれています。盤面はタイルを組み合わせることによって毎回変わります。プレイヤーは複数積まれた手駒を「配置」または「展開」します。双方「配置」も「展開」もできなくなったらゲーム終了です。エリアごとに判定し、ポイントの多い方がそのエリアを制します。5つのエリアをより多く征したプレイヤーの勝利です。 publisher's summary
