Kaj 2026

Kaj is a competitive take-that card game inspired by Bolivian nightlife. Players are a group of friends trying to make their way home after a long night out, but the road is full of chaos, temptation, and sabotage from the rest of the table.

The game is played in turns. On your turn, you draw one card and play one card from your hand. Cards have different effects, such as moving forward along the path (green cards), forcing other players to drink (yellow cards), recovering from drunken setbacks (blue cards), reacting at any moment (red cards), or triggering special twists (purple cards). Each player also has a drunkenness meter, which limits their movement—if it reaches the red zone, their character collapses and cannot advance until they recover.

The path is built from hidden “Parranda” cards, which are revealed only when a player steps on them. These unexpected events can help, hinder, or drag everyone down together. Reaching the end of the path doesn't guarantee victory—only one of the hidden “Home” cards is the real destination, and choosing poorly could send players stumbling back into the night.

The first player (or players) to find their real home wins the game. With simple rules, a fast pace, and constant player interaction, Kaj delivers a chaotic and hilarious race to the finish where no one arrives home with their dignity intact.
