About the Game
"Kanzlerwahl" is completely described in the small magazine "Wahlspiele", a special edition of the "Pöppel Revue" published on the occasion of the SPIEL 1995 in Essen. "Kanzlerwahl" means election of the chancellor. All players start with multi-functional cards and some money. The game is played in several rounds. First 3 candidates will be determined by the possession of specific cards. All players will have 5 minutes for negotiating and trading. Then all candidates will held a speech and announce their political program. They are allowed to lie. All players vote with their cards. The candidate with the absolute majority will be chancellor. If there is no absolute majority, there will be an additional election between the favorites. The chancellor receives his salary and announces his future politics. All players with adequate cards will receive a corresponding income. The game ends after several rounds when a player has reached a specific amount of money.
