About the Game

Elspeth is the only daughter of the mighty ruler of the Western Kingdoms. Alas, its airy palaces were, for her, more like a prison. While her brothers were telling stories of their brave adventures, the beautiful princess was taught how to sing and sew. But this was not to be the destiny for stubborn ELSPETH. With the secret help of the king's master-at-arms, she practiced her swordsmanship every night – at first with one, but soon with two swords. It was her very teacher who told the princess about the evil across the Great Sea, lurking in the castle Karak. Elspeth was charmed by the master-at-arms' tale. She longed for her own tale, a story in which a womancould achieve as much glory as a man. Or perhaps even more! On the day ofher 18th birthday, she sneaked out of the palace and on a small schooner she sailed for her own adventure.

Dual Wielding: The Warrior Princess has been trained in the dual wield technique since her childhood. In every combat she can reroll one of her die if the roll is not to her liking. If she does, she has to use the rerolled value.

Tactical Reposition: The Warrior Princess can move through a tile containing a monster for a cost of one move and one HP. Afterwards the warrior princess is moved to a tile adjacent to the tile she has charged through. This skill can be used even when entering an undiscovered zone; in that case use the rules for entering an undiscovered zone.

Elspeth was originally released as bonus character available only in specialized retails. She was included as the seventh character in the English edition Catacombs of Karak (English-only edition) published by Outset Media and also in later Czech editions of the game.

The publisher (Albi) later released a printable pdf with Elspeth, usable for home use/printing.

Later publisher decided to add her into the mini expansion Karak: Sidhar, Kirima, Elspeth.
