About the Game

It is the dawn of interstellar travel for man. New technologies have been developed which allow interstellar star pilots to overcome challenges like stellar debris, warped space, and black holes. Mass production has finally brought the costs of these technological marvels down enough to be accessible to the private sector, and like any good space civilization you capitalize on the opportunity.

In Kepler Run, you play an independent space runner attempting to win the most riches for yourself by being the first to fulfill lucrative contracts the fastest. You'll need to put all of your runner know-how to good use, and with a little bit of planning and luck, you can be the first to complete your Kepler Run.

In more detail, Kepler Run is a card-drafting and route-planning game. Each round, new cards are revealed. In turn, players draft a card and decide whether to add it to their ship as an engine, add it to the board (the run) for points, or discard it for fuel modules. After each player has drafted two tiles, in turn players attempt to make it as far as they can, crossing from one side of the board to the other. Players collect points depending on how far they get and on which objective they complete along the way. After three rounds of drafting and running, the player with the most points wins.
