Koppla av, res med oss 1950

Koppla av, res med oss ("Relax, come travel with us" in English) is a travelling game set in Europe. They game was most likely published in all of the german speaking world as well as Scandinavia, as the city names on the game board are in German and the rules have a note about the language version for the specific game.

The players start in Brussels and selects one out of six destinations (Edinburgh, Gibraltar, Palermo, Athens, Istanbul, Helsinki). The players proceed to travel along a route, each route are of equal length, but can deviate by taking optional routes along the way or be forced to turn back.

During the trip they will spend their money on means of travel (By foot, bicycle, car, train and airplane) and visit different cities along the way. The main mechanic is to pay following a tariff table to determines how far you travel. In each city they have to draw an event card and see what happens in that city. Events can be positive or negative, mostly to your travelling fund but also for instance change the final destination.

The object of the game is to be the first to reach your destination with travelling funds still on hand. If a player runs out of funds he or she is out of the game.
