La Nacion 2026

La Nacion places the player in the role of a political dynasty, who seeks to make their mark on the country of Santa Tomas. Either through election, coup or rebellion you can seek power, (or merely begin as the newly minted leader of the country for an easier start). As a president, a guerrilla leader, or an opposition leader, you can exert control and respond to the events as they occur. Each action you take can have consequences for your family members. Each player's dynasty comprises a set number of figures, the game ends when your dynasty deck runs out. Through each action, you gain points and at the end of the game, you tote up the points to find your final score. Different actions and events carry different values.

The game is divided into 10 turns, where the player can spend either money or popular support to leverage as many actions as they can afford. You can use the military or rebels to assert control as long as they don't turn on you. You can also manipulate the economy to make your money last longer, but bear in mind that that can cause the people to turn on you.
