About the Game
Abstract connection game played on a 17x17 board. Each player has a "Manipulator" piece which moves by making a rook move, then dropping a pawn on the square arrived on, then making a second rook move at right angles to the first.
On a player's turn they either move their Manipulator in the manner described, or they capture one or more opposing pawns by making a jump or series of jumps with one of their own pawns in a manner similar to checkers. Pawns cannot move except to capture and the Manipulators cannot capture.
A player wins when their pawns either form an unbroken chain from one side of the board to the other, or have trapped the opposing Manipulator so that it cannot move.
Winner of the "Pion d'Or 1983" award from "Jeux & Stratégie" magazine. A winner of the 1983 Concours International de Créateurs de Jeux de Société.
