Le jeu du Routard 2003

Le jeu de Routard ("The Routard Game") is a board game for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up, centered on travel and exploration. In the first phase, each player prepares their backpack: they roll a die to earn money, which they can spend on administrative documents, travel guides, equipment, plane tickets, hotel vouchers, and more.

Once equipped, players move on to the second phase: the journey itself. They advance across a board featuring various airports, pay for their travels, and draw “Accommodation” cards or interact with the effects of the spaces they land on—whether it’s buying items, going on adventures, or completing reports. Some spaces trigger special events (“Job,” “Chance,” “Poste restante”), and players can help each other by hitchhiking or rely on “Routard Assistance” when needed. The winner is the first to reach the final airport while holding two “Purchase,” two “Adventure,” and two “Report” cards.
