About the Game

In Limelight, you're the producer of a Broadway show. The game is played over the course of three Acts, followed by Opening Night.

Each Act consists of an Audition and a Rehearsal. During the Audition, you'll add cards to your show deck by drafting cast and crew in an open draft.

You can then hone your show in Rehearsal by playing your show deck card by card. In order to "strike" (remove) a card from your show, you will need to lose one or more cards from the bottom of your hand before you know what they are.

The game culminates on Opening Night, when each player plays out their show deck to rapturous applause... or awful silence. Reveal seven or more Blunders during Opening Night, and your show will bomb. But there's a catch: If you reveal exactly 15 Blunders, your show is so bad, it's good.

Limelight is a hilarious, highly thematic game that will especially appeal to theatre lovers.
