About the Game

The Lumecon is part of the traditional folk festival Ducasse de Mons held in Mons, Belgium. On Trinity Sunday (57 days after Easter) 4 different groups take part in a choreographed battle that represents the fight between Saint George (the good) and the dragon (the evil). Each player has a character token representing one of the 4 groups and two counters for movement. There are 80 tokens (20 from each faction) that are drawn randomly and placed on the character token. Players use the movement counters to move the tokens around and when the movement is finished any counters that are in the player's area are collected. The first player to collect a specific combination of tokens is the winner.
