Your sole objective is to capitalize upon indigenous species by enthralling the strongest to become your enslaved warriors. To unleash havoc upon their planet, and subdue all that oppose you without mercy.

No one can stop you. The natural order beckons at your every command. But hold! This cannot be! Some insignificant others dare to interfere with your indomitable conquests! None are fearless against your supreme power! Unless . . . yes, it has begun. Now we shall see who is the greatest amongst opposing Arklords!

MENAGERIE: War of the Arklords is a quick playing “4X” card game (explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate) depicting the conflict between 2 to 4 Arklords (players) who gather and subjugate creatures, amassing powerful armies to reign over the lands to directly or indirectly defeat the opposing Arklords.

The play area is created from a random pattern of concealed region cards with the size and shape of the area dependent upon the number of players. Each turn, players will spend action points, selecting from a variety of tasks – move and explore the land, gather creatures, initiate combat, draw cards, or call upon an overwhelming force of obliteration.
