About the Game

Mimic Taking is a trick-taking game for 3-4 players where the winner of a trick is the player who plays a card closest in rank to the lead card.

It is a "must-follow" game, and the winner of a trick takes all of the cards from the trick face-down into a score pile. If the trick was won with a trump card, the winner may discard some of the cards without collecting them.

Points are awarded at the end of a hand based on comparing the number of cards a player took in the suit where they took the most and the suit where they took the least, with a bonus being awarded if the number of cards is the same.

The player with the most points after a number of rounds wins!
