About the Game

A travel game in which each player has a starting point and a destination (determined by drawing cards); the return journey must follow a different route than the outbound trip, and route segments are paid for using appropriate stamps from one's own supply. Game pieces and play money are not included; players must source suitable materials themselves.

As travel tickets, the game master distributes 15 stamps to each of the companions. A sea voyage must be paid for with a stamp depicting a ship, a landscape featuring water, or an aquatic animal; an air journey, however, requires a stamp showing an airplane, a flying creature, or even a constellation (such as the Southern Cross). All other stamps are valid for land travel.

The game master manages the supply of tokens, from which missing tokens must be purchased. However, two tokens of a different type may also be exchanged for a desired journey—either between players or between a player and the supply.

Once all travelers have returned to their countries of origin, each person determines how many stamps they have used and how many they have kept. The winner is the one who has the fewest stamps remaining while having purchased the minimum number of additional ones.
