Swansea City became the first Welsh club to reach the Premier League when they clinched a thrilling play-off final victory over Reading at Wembley Stadium in May, 2011. It completed a remarkable rise for a club that had found itself fighting regulation from the Football League less than 10 years earlier.
Moving from the lovely, uglu, old Vetch Field to a new luxury home at the Liberty Stadium helped spark a footballing revolution at the Swans' unique tiki-taka style look took the Premier League by storm and secured the club their first major trophy with the Captial One Cup.
