About the Game

Created by Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten, this truly brilliant Monopoly Traditional Japanese Arts & Crafts Edition is a must for board game enthusiasts and fans of Japanese crafts. This is the universally popular Monopoly game, only with pieces and a board adapted to Japan. So you get deer, the maneki-neko (beckoning cat) and daruma instead of the usual tokens of a hat, iron and boot. Rather than the standard community chest and chance cards, you have Zipangu and Future cards.

Learn about traditional Japan while playing the classic game. The locations on the board are businesses, shops and studios dealing in crafts, such as ceramics, paper and more. Complete with bilingual (English and Japanese) cards, the board is also beautifully decorated.

Limited edition of 5,000

Bilingual cards (English and Japanese) Instructions: Japanese (but regular Monopoly rules and bilingual cards)
